Mayor Michael Brown (D), Home Wrecker
Mayor Michael Brown (D) of Riviera Beach, Florida is the master of spinning; however he has yet to master bullshit artistry. This man can’t even hide the fact that he is the reason a town of 6,000 people will be taken out of their homes so a yacht club and condominiums can be built there. Most of the residents of this town have lived there for decades and raised their families there too. If I were them I would seriously consider recalling this idiot of a mayor. If there was ever a reason to do so, this would be one.

What I find interesting is the reaction of the libs to the eminent domain ruling by the SCOTUS. After pooh-poohing “judicial activisim” and “legislating from the bench” as some phantom menace conjured by righties with an agenda, it is suddenly made plain when property rights are unequivocally usurped in such a fashion.
There has in fact been some shock and outrage by libs about this ruling which leaves people like me telling them “This is what we’ve been SAYING! And the ruling came from the libs on the bench, not the unholy trinity of Scalia/Rhenquist/Thomas!”
