NOTE: I will be updating this thread all day.
For the first time ever, Bloggers are invited to meet directly with House Members and blog from the Capitol*. Members will be stopping in throughout the day to meet with bloggers and discuss the House Republican record of successful economic policies, their commitment to fiscal responsibility, and the details of the historic proposed budget amendment that is expected to reach the floor later this week.
Truth Laid Bear has a community page on bloggers blogging at the Capitol.
Harriet Miers is also being discussed.
I’m here, safe and sound. If you have any questions you want me to ask please contact me here, please do not leave questions as comments.

SOunds like quite the oppurtunity you are embarking on. Congrats. I have a question about the republicans emphasis on cutting spending. Can you go into detail about what programs they are planning on cutting spending on in order to reduce spending. I must say, it will be discouraging if the rupublicans are advocating cutting spending on health care, education when they themself are to blame for the irresponsible spending practices of the last 4 1/2 years. Do you agree?

It would be interesting to find out if any of them but Congressman Ron Paul, have plans on actually honoring the Second amendment, and rolling back some of the asinine gun control laws on the books. Or maybe they are too afraid of “We the people”. Perhaps a little reading of the founders words on their intent, could prove informative.
