Tom DeLay addressed the press and called Ronnie Earles “a rogue D.A.” and a “partisan fanatic”. DeLay has made it clear that Earle has gone out of his way in an attempt to nail the former.

DeLay Indictment Missing Crime
Mark Levin has been looking through the indictment against Tom DeLay for conspiracy charges. He was looking for the crime commited by DeLay and apparantly can’t find one. Here’s what he posted on The Corner at National Review Online (hat…

A Significant DeLay
You probably know that Tom DeLay has been indicted, and is stepping down as House Majority Leader. I’ll bet you didn’t know that the important part isn’t whether or not he did, but how aggressive his defense of his crimes…

Of course, Ronnie Earle has indicted more Democrats than Republicans during his tenure as DA, including some sitting members of the Texas Legislature and a Democratic Texas Supreme Court Judge.
As far as the “missing crime” goes, the conspiracy charge is alleging that DeLay conspired with his two co-conspirators for their breaking of the law. The law, wisely, makes it a crime to conspire with others in their crimes. Or should we declassify criminal conspiracy as a crime?

DeLay Indicted
As I’ve said for years, campaign finance laws are created to make criminals out of ordinary people. From the story:WASHINGTON—U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay temporarily stepped aside Wednesday as U.S. House majority leader. That’s after a grand jury in…

Well, like Ian said. This is just an indictment against him. This is no conviction. I think all politicians are probably a little corrupt. DeLay is just the victim of partisan crap here.

Yeah Young Republican!
A little corruption is always better than the partisan fanaticism of 12 oridinary Texans. You know the grand jurors? The people who actually reviewed the evidence and deliberated and voted and came to the decision to indict?
Get the pitchforks! Get the tar and feathers! Lets find these traitorous grand jurors, they just all have to be Bush-hating, terrorist-loving, hippie-liberal Democrats out to get DeLay.

Tom DeLay and Ronnie Earle
It is now being widely reported that the corruption investigations begun two years ago have finally resulted in an indictment on conspiracy charges (also available as a PDF) against Tom DeLay himself. If convicted, the penalty will be six months to two y

Delay is innocent, it’s all Clinton’s fault for putting his penis in a lady’s mouth (ewww).

Criminals are criminals regardless of political affiliation. Come on, if this was a Dem you would be calling for some rope and the nearest tree (we know this from the most expensive blow job on record.)

Eeeeeeezactly.
Young Republican, if “all politicians are probably a little corrupt” then I’m sure you vociferously objected to the impeachment of President Clinton for a bj, of all things?
Or wasn’t he just being victimized by partisan crap?
I hope you go to college and get over it.

‘Ends’ Justifying Whatever ‘Means’ Necessary
It seems as though that our friends on the left side of the aisle will stop at nothing to utterly destroy our Republican leaders through any means they deem necessary necessary. As you very well may know, Tom Delay had a “one count of criminal conspi…

Christine and Tom DeLay, with the Hammer Cake I ran into Tom DeLay and his wife Christine at an event earlier this year in your Nation’s Capital. Before he was indicted for “criminal conspiracy,” allegedly moving money from corporate…
